Passengers who insist on bottled water may think they’re getting the good stuff.
However, one flight attendant revealed this may not be the case.
User Maser-x wrote: “If your flight attendant pours you a cup of water from the bottle, most likely that bottle has already been refilled 10-15 times and it’s just tap water.
“Plane tap water is nasty, nasty stuff, be fussy and ask for a sealed bottle.
“Your flight attendant will hate you, but at least you won’t be drinking the tap water.”
Water on planes may be a worry for travellers, but flight attendants say it’s perfectly fine.

She wrote: “I’ve seen people not want to drink the water because it appears cloudy.
“This is nothing to do with the water and is due to the air pressure.
“If you tap the side of your bottle/cup, the bubbles will dissipate quickly.”
