Romesh Ranganathan was left gobsmacked on The Weakest Link as Gemma Collins couldn’t answer the question, reports the Mirror.
Gemma was a contestant on the revamped quiz show, but left viewers baffled by her answer that got her booted off the show.
It seemed like a fairly straightforward quiz question guaranteed to earn you some points.
The former TOWIE star, 40, was asked the question “How many beds are in a twin hotel room?”
She said she couldn’t tell the 43-year-old comedian how many beds were in a twin hotel room as she “only stays in penthouses”.
According to The Sun, she was sharply booted off the general knowledge quiz show by her fellow contestants partly because of her failure to answer the simple question correctly.
When discussing the show, which is set to air on Thursday, Gemma told the host: “I only stay in suites or penthouses so when I got asked that question… twin beds, double… I really didn’t know the answer.”

After the vote-off, Romesh questioned her: “Was there any part of you that thought ‘twin’ had something to do with it? If anything the question was too cheap for you wasn’t it.”
Gemma replied: “Basically yeah. Sorry guys.”
Romesh promptly told the star: “You are the weakest link, goodbye.”
He quipped: “Enjoy the suite!” as Gemma walked off stage.
The comedian and A League of Their Own star took over hosting duties on the popular quiz from Anne Robinson.
Gemma, who was dressed as an angel was competing on the show alongside a host of famous faces, including Kym Marsh, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Christopher Biggins and Bonnie Langford.
Before the show started, Gemma described her general knowledge of being like that of a historian, but failed to live up to her claim.
She said: “I was really good at history at school, I’m like a historian, people don’t know it but I did a project on Richard III, and basically I was so good at history at school, also geography, I’m amazing at geography.”
Gemma also revealed that she used to always watch the original run of the show, which aired between 2000 and 2011, but claimed she’s now “all gamed out”.
However, she confessed that when she was informed Romesh was the new host she decided to take part, labelling him “hilarious”.
She was competing for Havens House children’s charity in Essex and blamed her poor showing on the pressure she was under.
She added: “I can’t tell you or underestimate how challenging it is when you are up there! You just freeze there is so much going on, you’ve got the lights, you’ve got to answer in a few seconds and you don’t want to let the team down so it’s quite pressurised hun.”
Gemma’s episode is set to air on BBC One on Thursday at 6.30pm.
