INDIA. Travel Food Services has won four awards in the space of a week.
GVK Lounge by TFS at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai scooped two prizes. It was named ‘Asia’s Leading Airport Lounge 2018’ and ‘Asia’s Leading Domestic Airport Lounge 2018’ at the 25th Annual World Travel Awards. The event was held in Hong Kong on 3 September.
At the IMAGES Retail Tech Awards 2018 on 5 September, Travel Food Services received the ‘Special Jury Award for Excellence in Technological Innovation’.
Finally, the travel food and retail company’s Dilli Streat concept at Indira Gandhi International Airport was awarded for its store design at the IMAGES Retail Awards 2018. The event took place at the India Retail Forum in Mumbai on 6 September.
“This has been a week of celebration for us, as our hard work and commitment towards transforming the travel experience in India is recognised and rewarded on Indian as well as international platforms,” said Travel Food Services COO and Business Head Gaurav Dewan.

Travel Food Services was also recognised at the Airport Food and Beverage (FAB) Conference & Awards in Helsinki earlier this year.
Its Frshly concept at Chennai International Airport was named New Food & Beverage Concept of the Year. The Irish House at Indira Gandhi International Airport took first place in the Airport Bar of the Year (under US$3 million in sales) category.
