Almost 100% employees vaxxed: Subic opens for leisure, travel, food trips
The Subic Bay Freeport Zone is now open for leisure, travel, and food trips with almost 100 percent vaccinated employees, according to Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) chair and administrator Wilma Eisma.
“Subic Bay is open, and we are not requiring RT-PCR tests or antigen tests but we strictly implement wearing of face masks,” she said in a Philippine Information Agency report.
“There is a reason for mandatory adherence to protocols because we do not want to have a surge and we do not want to stop the economic recovery from flourishing,” Eisma was quoted as saying.
Tourists must also bring with them vaccination cards in case asked by some personnel.
SBMA, according to the official, opens its vaccination centers for everyone.
“Please feel free to get your COVID-19 jabs in our vaccination centers when you happen to visit or dine here in Subic,” Eisma said.
Interested individuals may proceed to Harbor Point mall for walk-in vaccination.
