Adam Richman made his name from hosting television shows including “Man vs. Food” and “Man Finds Food.” [Provided by Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival]

Adam Richman has become synonymous with food and travel. First came his road-trip eating challenges on “Man Vs. Food,” which saw him braving the hottest of wings and the largest of burgers America has to offer, then “Man Finds Food” and now Facebook’s “Matchday Meals,” exploring what European football fans eat on game days.

And soon, the Brooklyn-based host will be traveling again for food-related purposes to the Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival, an experience he says he looks forward to.

“There’s so much talent in the Palm Beach area. There are people who feel that it’s just the domain of the country club elite or some sort of subdivision that people live in,” says Richman, who is hosting the festival’s sold-out “Beef N Bourbon” dinner at Okeechobee Steakhouse Thursday night and appearing at Wine Spectator’s Grand Tasting event Sunday. “But if that’s all they get out of it, they’re truly missing it.”
