A person has been hit by a train in Hertfordshire.
Great Northern confirmed on social media that all lines were blocked after someone was struck by a train between Welwyn Garden City and Stevenage earlier today (Thursday, January 6).
All lines are blocked between these stations while the emergency services work to deal with the incident.

It’s expected that journeys will take at least 90 minutes longer than usual.
